Sunscreen

Just because the weather is cooler does not mean the sun is not as threatening. Did you know that clouds actually reflect the sun’s UVA and EVB rays, increasing your risk? UVA rays age your skin and UVB rays burn your skin. Remember, sun protection isn’t just about aging skin, more importantly it increases your risk of developing skin cancer. Both issues can be addressed by protecting yourself proactively. Wear your sunscreen.

Now, if you are experiencing discoloration of the skin (due to too much sun this past summer,) start working on taking care of it now. Start using a skin lightener to help eliminate blotchy discoloration from hours spent in the sun. I recommend this dual usage cream which can be used for age spots (discoloration of the skin) and under your eyes, it’s a natural highlighter.

Interesting facts:
Actinic aging causes 90% of the visible signs of  aging, wrinkles, discoloration, sagging, pigmented spots and thin skin are all directly related to the exposure of the sun whether it shines or not! Intrinsic aging is the natural aging process which is responsible for 10% of the signs of aging which is hereditary and genetic! Wow! This show’s how damaging the environment and the sun really are.

Until next week, have a wonderful day.
