Après Ski
This is the season to enjoy the snow! For many of us this means a ski vacation or at least getting onto a mountain somewhere. Stay in style with these core tips. It’s simple when you think about it. Just break it down into tops, bottoms and boots. This formula will keep you looking good while still feeling cozy.
Tops
This is your opportunity to wear something bulky. Opt for a longer fit that comes to the hips or lower in a cozy fabric, or layer a long sleeve cotton top or slim fitting wool turtleneck with an insulated vest. A faux fur vest is also a great option for layering. Bell sleeved sweaters and cowl necks add a lot of interest up top and keep your look modern.
Bottoms
Keep your pants slim fitting and in dark tones. (If you are super slim you can wear white slim bottoms but count yourself lucky as you are a very small population – and yes – the rest of us are very jealous.) Leggings are a great option as they pair well with bulky tops and are super comfortable. A comfortable wool tailored pant is another great option for bottoms.
Boots
Boots are “the thing” to wear in the snow. The fuzzier and bulkier the better. Leave that beautiful black stiletto heeled boot for another place and time. Think Uggs and Juicy, for an “in style” boot that also keeps your feet warm. Since you are wearing a slim pant you can pull off the bulk in these boots.
Have fun in the snow ladies!
Best-
Andrea
