New You - New Wardrobe?
Although this week’s article may sound strange or even superficial to some, the truth is that when you are taking steps to create a new life and a new you…you start to go through a transformation. You think differently, start to view the world differently and ultimately are becoming a different person. All of this has an effect on how you feel, and who you are, so it just makes sense that you now want to represent yourself differently in terms of how you dress and present yourself to the world.
The desire to change one’s appearance will happen naturally. Drastic changes like cutting off all your hair on a whim is not the type of change we are talking about here. We are speaking of the natural transformation and desire to improve one’s image the same as they are improving the rest of their life. It’s a natural progression and yet another step in your glorious transformation.
Before making a change in your appearance, take some time to think about the person you want to project to world, the image that you want to model yourself after. If you are uncertain, pay more attention to the people around you. Take note of the attributes you see in others that appeal and are representative of yourself. We all see people that project images we are attracted to. They are all around us, from the office to the grocery store. Make a list of what you like and don’t like. This will help you get clear on the image you ultimately want to transform to.
Over the next month we’ll take you through the beauty and style component of your transformation. This is an important part of your life transition, and is a lot of fun. Project that growing confidence to the world around you! Make the new you shine!
Best-
Andrea
