Healthy New Year! Pt 3
Aren’t you tired of it? You know, waking up and saying” ok, today is the day I am going to exercise”, or going to bed at night proclaiming you aren’t going to have any more munchies past 8 pm…starting tomorrow!” What are you tired of saying? What do you want to change?
In week 1 we discussed “belief systems”. What you believe, is what will manifest in to your life. This is a basic foundation to your success rate or failure rate…not just in business, or relationships, but a basic foundation to your health, nutrition and fitness goals.
If you believe that those who are fit, spend 10 hours a week in the gym, then you will constantly fail if you can only spend 3 hours in the gym a week. You will set yourself up for failure. Or, say you believe that those who have a healthy body fat have only achieved that by eating salads, then every time you have something other than a salad, you set yourself up for failure!
So what do you do? You change how you believe!
For example, say to yourself…I have 3 hours to spend in the gym and I will make every minute count and I will do what I need to do during this time to become fit and I will be successful at it!. Or, say “ I love having salads and also love fresh fish, lean protein, legumes and nuts and will create my meals around these healthy foods for ultimate energy!”
These are simple suggestions. Try looking at one or two self limiting beliefs you have about your health goals and see if there’s a way you can rephrase it to support success!
