This week, I am going to do some shameless promotion for a client of mine, Lazarex Cancer Foundation. They are a nonprofit so I hope you’ll forgive me (smile).

Lazarex Cancer Foundation provides a bridge to hope, life and dignity for end-stage cancer patients, and their families, who have been failed by conventional medicine. They provide financial assistance that enables access to promising new therapies, and help patients connect to the right resources and also help them with advocacy support. They have helped women with breast cancer, fathers with pancreatic cancer, and children and young adults with bone cancer. I’ll let you read the stories on the website, but the results have been quite amazing.

On April 5, 2008, Lazarex Cancer Foundation will be holding a unique fundraiser called Safari for the Soul. For this event, the Spirits in Stone Gallery will open their warehouse to Lazarex guests, so folks can mingle among the fabulous African art, enjoy local wineries and delicious finger foods – all for a good cause. Spirits in Stone will donate 30% of every item sold that night back to Lazarex Cancer Foundation. So, for those of you in Northern California, mark your calendars. I’d love to meet you in person and I promise it will be a great night!
